Platform Identity

Booked Services Pro is a neutral project coordination and transparency platform.

The platform:

  • Organizes project information
  • Provides estimated pricing guidance
  • Facilitates contractor discovery, bidding, and communication
  • Documents the project lifecycle

The platform does NOT:

  • Perform services
  • Supervise work
  • Act as a contractor or construction manager
  • Set or guarantee final pricing
  • Employ contractors

All service work is performed by independent contractors.

User Types

Homeowners

  • Create and manage service projects
  • Provide project details, photos, and videos
  • Review estimates and bids
  • Select contractors
  • Confirm project completion

Contractors

  • Maintain business profiles
  • Receive matched project invitations
  • Request more information
  • Submit bids
  • Schedule on-site visits
  • Complete projects

Contractors operate as independent businesses and are not employees of Booked Services Pro.

Project Lifecycle

1. Project Creation

Homeowners provide structured inputs including service type, location, scope, and requirements. A project cannot move forward without minimum viable scope.

2. Estimated Price Ranges

The platform generates estimated price ranges with confidence scores. All pricing shown is non-binding guidance, not quotes.

3. Contractor Matching (3-Contractor Model)

The platform matches projects with up to 3 vetted contractors based on service type, location, and availability. Contractors are invited, not assigned.

4. Contractor Review & Response

Invited contractors may accept and submit bids, request more information, or request on-site visits. All communication occurs within the platform.

5. On-Site Visits

If required, scheduling is handled through the platform. Booked Services Pro does not attend, supervise, or evaluate on-site visits.

6. Bid Review & Selection

Homeowners compare bids and select a contractor. The platform does not recommend, rank, or endorse bids by default.

7. Booking Confirmation

Once selected, project status changes to "Booked." The service agreement is between homeowner and contractor.

8. Project Tracking & Scope Changes

Status updates and messages are logged. Scope changes must be documented. Booked Services Pro records changes but does not approve them.

9. Completion & Records

Contractor marks complete, homeowner confirms, and all records are archived for future reference.

Legal & Risk Boundaries

Booked Services Pro:

  • Is not a party to the service agreement
  • Is not responsible for workmanship
  • Is not responsible for pricing disputes
  • Does not guarantee timelines or outcomes
  • Does not supervise, manage, or direct contractor work

All work, pricing, execution, and service delivery is the sole responsibility of the independent contractor.

Transparency & Trust Principles

  • No hidden scope
  • No hidden pricing logic
  • No surprise changes without documentation
  • Shared visibility for both homeowners and contractors

Payments & Fees

  • Contractors set their own payment terms
  • Payments for services occur between homeowner and contractor, unless otherwise stated
  • Booked Services Pro may charge platform fees, booking fees, or subscription fees to contractors
